What do you get when three politicians come to town in a road show they call a “town hall”?

Well, there’s no punch line to the question, because when Reps. Arnie Roblan (D–Coos Bay), Bruce Hanna (R–Roseburg) and Jean Cowan (D–Dist. 10) visited Florence over the weekend, indeed for a bit of a road show, they still offered a recap of the work that had been done this term in Oregon legislature while providing access to elected officials that is seldom allowed.

(Salem, OR) – Continuing where they left off with last year’s successful joint town halls, Oregon House Co-Speakers Bruce Hanna (R - Roseburg) and Arnie Roblan (D – Coos Bay) will hold two joint town halls on Saturday April 14, 2012. The first town hall will start in Elkton at 10:00am (House District 7), with the second in Florence at 2:30pm (House District 9) (addresses below).

These town halls will give residents an opportunity to engage with the Co-Speakers, and ask any questions about legislative issues and the recently-concluded 2012 legislative session.
